You nice folks at ProjectorCentral measure it for other projectors. I would love your technical comparison against the Optoma HD25/LV. Fan Noise - In Eco mode, fan noise is very low, but in normal mode, it is loud enough to be a distraction.

Keep in mind that colors can vary from projector to projector, even with the same model, so it's a good idea to use these settings as a baseline for your own calibration. CEC an HDMI feature should allow this projector to be controlled from other devices that are CEC equipped. The PJD7820HD is small, light, and at 3,000 lumens it is plenty bright even in living rooms at midday. It does, of course, have its flaws; poor brightness uniformity and a loud fan number among them. It does exhibit rainbow artifacts, so those who see rainbows will want to test it out before committing to a purchase.
